Playland
We love our soft play centres and I know you all do too!
We made it our mission during this school break to visit some of the latest indoor play centres to open and I’ve put them together for you here! From KL to Putrajaya, there’s so much choice, and all of these are less than a year old! While writing, I’d like to send a big shout out to our friends who have joined us for play dates and helped us with photos – thank you ❤️
Incidentally, last year I put together a ‘Top Ten’ collection of play centres in Kuala Lumpur which you shared enormously across FB so, just in case you missed that one, I’ll add the link here so that you really have every single option available to you for a good ole indoor play session! Enjoy, S x
DreamWorld:
One of two new centres opened by Dreamworld in 2017, this one being located at The Starling Mall.
We had so much fun here in this ‘winter wonderland’ style of play area.
Rates for under 2s are RM25 in the week, RM35 on weekends. Rates for children 2-12 years old are RM48 on weekdays and RN58 on weekends
The Kids:
This impressive place is the latest centre to hit KL.
“The Kids” is at the ever-popular The School in Petaling Jaya and needs to be seen to be believed – its huge!
Rates for children are RM30 in the week, RM40 on weekends. Please note that guardians/parents also need to pay RM10 to enter.
Space Joe Playland:
Space Joe Playland is the new play area to open in 2017 at 1 Mont’ Kiara. A great large space with a lot of fun features.
Rates for under 2s are RM28 in the week, RM33 on weekends. Rates for children 2-12 years old are RM45 on weekdays and RN55 on weekends
SuperKidz:
SuperKidz Indoor Playground have two centres in KL but this one at Pearl Shopping Gallery is their newest one and opened in October 2016
An original under water theme and the fastest slides in the city!
Rates during the week are RM25.00 per child. On weekends/holidays the rate is RM35.00 per child. This gives unlimited play time and adults are free of charge
Jungle Safari Playland:
Jungle Safari Playland at Citta Mall Ara Damansara
opened in the latter half of 2016 and is worth a visit if you’re at CITTA Mall
Rates in the week are RM30, while at weekends you pay RM38. Adults and under2s are free of charge.
Dreamworld Putrajaya :
This is the second of two new centres opened by Dreamworld in 2017, this one being located at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya
The same ‘cool’ theme but a different layout to their Centre in KL.
Rates for under 2s are RM20 in the week, RM25 on weekends. Rates for children 2-12 years old are RM45 on weekdays and RN55 on weekends
Oh my word these look amazing fun! I’d have LOVED these places as a kid! I think play areas that involve being active and playing together are great for little ones to learn and have fun!

I have seen some incredible play places indoors but this by far would be the best. My daughter would have absolutely loved it when she was younger.

Oh wow, I’d love to be a kid again. All of these play places look amazing. Take that chucky cheese and woody wood chucks, these places know what’s what. Adults invited?

These all look like a ton of fun! I don’t have kids, but find myself thinking “gosh they should make these for adults”. lol
