There’s a NEW attraction in town aimed at families to enjoy together and I’m here to tell you all about it because …. I don’t think you know about it yet!
Little Kingdom is the latest ‘Edutainment Park to hit Kuala Lumpur and, although it’s only in it’s soft opening phase, I can tell you now – you NEED to go and visit them, and with special offers currently running for the school holidays, you need to go now!
As it’s name might imply, you walk into a little kingdom that is made up of cobble streets lined with lampposts and park benches. Coloured spotlights chase you around the streets as you make you way into a make-belief city of little shops and eateries. You’ll be greeted with music playing something similar to a Disney-parade song that will instantly lift your spirits and put a smile on your face. Here the magic is only just beginning……
Within the park there’s a host of activities to get involved in. Their edutainment centre offers over 50 enrichment classes, any of which you can take part in during your visit.
Take a look at their daily schedule and chose to go for an aerobics class in the Little Cinderella Ballroom, or pop along to Little Alice Wonderland to do some recycle art or finger painting. There are role play modules, Lego and Duplo workshops and a gorgeous little kitchen for getting creative too.
Two fairground rides give an extra bit of excitement to the park with “Amazon Ride” being a ride and a game combined into one which sees you laser-shooting your way around the track from your own safari jeep!
“Fantasy Drive” allows you to get behind the wheel of your own vehicle and make your way around the town circuit! Always such a big hit with my two!
If all that isn’t enough, there are over 30 ‘Little Fairyland’ characters that bring the town to life. Catch them walking around and greeting everyone, snap a photo with them and make a new little friend.
Today alone, we’ve walked the streets with Little Tinkerbell, spotted Little Puss in Boots, and Little Pinocchio even has his very own Hut that doubles as an ice cream parlour!
The fairytale wonderland that has been created takes you on a journey through brightly lit streets, sparkling ceilings and completely captures your heart (and your inner child!)
In the centre of it all there is a stage where daily magic shows draw the crowds and their in-house entertainers perform shows to cater for all audiences with song and dance routines that make you want to get up and join in the fun!
When the little ones aren’t busy learning a new skill or watching a show, Little Kingdom is host to the largest cassia seed sand pit in Malaysia.
Right next to it there is a sparkling new soft play area which is just fabulous – I could NOT get my two to leave!
I feel quite privileged to have had the chance to visit ‘Little Kingdom’ yesterday with my children. Finding new places in KL for the little ones is one of the main reasons I set up this blog, and I feel that with yesterday’s find, it will be hard to discover something so fresh and original in the city.
We didn’t just find ‘another place’; we found something that has literally impressed me beyond my wildest dreams and taken me back to my childhood in a magical world of make-believe. A big thank you to the team who made us feel so welcome, and who made the magic, just that little bit more……magical.
So what are you waiting for! Located at Parkson Maju Junction Shopping Mall on the very cleverly converted 3rd floor, this is the address you need to know. I’ve attached their special promo rates for the holidays within the photo album so please, tell your friends, pop along, and enjoy some family time.
