A visit to the ‘Pink Mosque’ in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

The Putra Mosque, aptly nicknamed the ‘Pink Mosque’ is not to be missed on a trip to Putrajaya, the man-made city less than an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur.

Whether it be seen from a boat trip as it sits majestically on the waterside, or going for a visit to see the stunning detailed architecture inside, it really needs to be added to your time in the city.

Our twins love the short boat trip offered by Cruise Tasik Putrajaya which gives a great overview of the city, but visits to the mosque are also possible free of charge. Needless to say, you do need to be appropriately dressed to enter the mosque but there’s a little kiosk offering the  complimentary use of hooded cloaks that you can borrow for the length of your visit. Anyone been?! S x
